That would be Chelsea Manning and Adrian Lamo, the hacker-turned-informant who played such a fateful role in her story. When I read the leaked chat-logs between these two fascinating people, I recognized in them the makings of a classic tragedy. The resulting graphic adaptation was originally anthologized in QU33R, a volume published by Northwest Press. In October 2022 it was republished in New Tools for Organizing the Sensorium, by Scale Publishing.
